Process production of precise metal etching
Shape etching (Photochemical etching) used in the production of precise flat metal parts - etched components has the great advantage that even very complex geometric shapes can be produced without additional costs. There are usually no tool costs associated with photochemical machining Photochemical machining creates parts completely stress-free and burr-free.The etching technique allows for extremely fine contours that can only be produced by other techniques at much higher costs, if at all.Photoetching can produce very complex parts with very fine details accurately and economically.
All metals with a thickness from 0.10 mm to 2 mm can be processed. The production process does not affect the electrical conductivity of the material, nor does it affect its magnetic properties, hardness or elasticity.
After the metal microetching process, it is possible to carry out further processing in the form of e.g. bending or surface treatment. Precision parts made of thin metal foils and sheets are mainly used in several industries such as medical, electronic, automotive, optical and many others.
The Sitapress production process is certified according to ISO9001:2015.
